Who gets excited about an MRI?

I never thought I would be excited about getting approval and an appointment for a MRI.

On my way to work this morning, I was on my weekly Tuesday morning conference call and the phone beeped. I looked down and saw it was the oncologist calling. Good thing I was at a stop light. I think the lady on the other end of the phone was more excited to tell me that she got the information that I was to hear.

We exchanged a few calls within 5 minutes and we go the time and date locked. This Friday @ 10:30 a.m.

Now I have to get myself ready for the test. I am not fond of enclosed spaces. I can fly on a plane, sit in a car and even take a shower in a stall, but don't confine and restrict my movement. This is not something I look forward too and there is no way I can have my iPod on because I'll be inside a huge magnet.

Over the next few days I will practice being still. I'm not hyper by any means but it takes a lot for me to be still, like sleep :)
